It is my pleasure to welcome you to the website of the town of Rácalmás! I hope you will find useful information here. Our aim is to give visitors an insight into the history of our town, the developments recently completed and planned for the future, and the life of the civic organisations active here. Thanks to the services of our customer-friendly municipality, residents can also handle certain matters online.

We are proud of our town with its excellent location, wonderful natural surroundings and outstanding infrastructure. Our enchanting Ófalu, which has preserved its centuries-old street pattern, the opportunities for water sports, angling and hiking offered by the nearby Danube, our historic buildings, public statues and nationally renowned festivals are all assets that make our town attractive to residents and visitors alike.

We strive to protect our heritage, preserve our traditions and enrich our town through cooperation and a great deal of work. We pay particular attention to strengthening the local economy and building our community, and to making our town ever more attractive to families wishing to settle here and to business investors.

Today Rácalmás is home to five thousand residents, one of the most developed settlements in the region and at the same time a popular tourist destination. If you have not visited us yet, I hope we will soon have the opportunity to welcome you in person!
