Why Rácalmás?

Excellent accessibility

Main road 6, the M6 motorway and the railway line pass right by the town. The M8 motorway bridge south of Dunaújváros is a 20-minute drive away. Budapest is sixty and Dunaújváros ten kilometres away.

A growing economy

The arrival of the South Korean tyre manufacturer Hankook Tire gave fresh impetus to the town's development. Since Rácalmás was granted town status in 2009, its population has been growing steadily.

Industrial park

Rácalmás Industrial Park – development of the industrial area

As part of project TOP-1.1.1-15-FE1-2016-00013, Állomás utca was renovated with HUF 100 million of European Union funding; the street provides access to the existing industrial area. The road also leads to the railway station, which opens up opportunities for rail freight in the future.

The development provides linear infrastructure improving access to the industrial area, safe access to the industrial sites and a connection between the railway station and the industrial areas, creating more favourable operating conditions for businesses that have already settled or will settle here.
